Nokia phone photographs

One of the biggest reasons why I bought Nokia N8 and later Nokia 808 was their amazing cameras. At that time, and for a long time after that, best you could find from any mobile phones.

Here you can find some of the photographs I took with those phones over they years. Images link to original photos. Completely unedited, files downloaded straight from the phone. Only file names have been changed. So files also contains original exif data also in case someone is interested.

Nokia to Sony

After that, my phone turned to Sony Xperia Z5 Compact.

I had good run with my 808, things I'm going to miss other than camera: Amoled display that was showing clock, missed calls etc dimly on screen all the time, without any noticable impact to battery life. Practically indestructible screen. After 3 years of active use, there isn't single scratch on the screen. Offline maps that worked almost anywhere in the world without any data roaming required.

Technically easy change

Also big yay for standards, in this case Bluetooth and vCards. This is how I moved my contacts from 4 years old Symbian Nokia to brand new Android Sony:

• Enable bluetooth on both devices, they find each other
• Nokia: Contacts -> Select all -> Send as vCard -> Bluetooth -> Z5 (that was found earlier)
• Sony: Accept incoming files, wait for few minutes for all data to transfer
• Sony: Contacts -> Import -> Internal storage -> (searching vCards) -> Select all -> Ok
